I did a roommate photoshoot for some friends a week or so ago. Here's a few of my favorites. (Nikon D60, 18-55mm 3.5-5.6, bare SB-28, SB-600 thru umbrella)

Nice shots for sure! For those of us (me) new to off camera lighting, where were the lights placed in relation to the camera? Thanks!

Those are definitely shots the girls will treasure for their liftetimes.

The lighting in both photos from the left side is kind of harsh on the brunettes face in photo #1 and her right leg & face in photo #2.


Usually I would say crop those shots, but the backround is the campus which will also have some meaning. You could always crop them as a second set of photos.

u used umbrella flash...in first u culd give half stop down....the sunlight is coming from right....the girls being white, it is not easy to control the exposure as in second...if u use photoshop...slightly underexpose, then u can manage there the brightness range.
however, beautiful photographs...let the girls cherish them forever.
