What could I do to make this better.

Better?
Ok:

1. Try Black and white wich high contrast.
2. Close-up shot.
3. More sharp focus and using DOF.
4. Trying another angle.

But overall perpactive is good here.

I think the biggest for me would be a tight DOF to give parts of it more 'pop'.
