Rougly 5 months since the D750 was released and still no lightroom compatability.

Bestbuy sells the box version according to their website
so I'm sure other places do too.

Adobe just wants people on a constant cash flow for them. Highly profitable as mentioned earlier .. $200 so far if you jumped on the online thing vs $150 for the box version. AND you're still paying $10 a month ...
 
That $10.00 also includes Photoshop CC. You could let your subscription expire and use your purchased copy for most things. Nice to have choices.
 
Are there any negative (no pun intended) consequences to using a converted DNG instead of the original RAW file?
 
Awesome, that looks like my option, at least for the time being. I haven't had any issues with LR 4 So I don't see a reason to bother with upgrading at this point.
 
I found that DPP that comes with the Canon camera software wouldn't recognize the DNG files. Perhaps Nikon's version of DPP will.
