As we left Monument Valley for the long trip home, I decided to drive the 20 miles in the opposite direction to take the obligatory photo from the scene in the Forest Gump movie when he is running cross country.

I am glad I did. It was morning so the light was still decent and there were few cars on the road.

That is a very nice scene and you have done it justice.

Nicely captured, but I can't help an overpowering urge to composite Wile E. Coyote into the scene.

Lovely shot. If it was mine, I would be framing it and putting on my wall.

Thanks for the compliments everyone. I'm really happy I decided to take the detour to capture this shot. It's turned out to be one of my favorites from the trip.

Its a beauty. I think I would be tempted to Photoshop those little signs and posts out but thats just nit picking to be honest.

Great shot, I can almost see Forest in the distance.
