Salem, MA....well known for the Witch Hysteria of 1692.... I went up to Mack Park tonight to try and get the harvest moon...since I missed last night's rising... Looking out to the Atlantic Ocean with the power plant to the right. This image has been layered...I shot the moon seperate a few time and the full scene; I tried using using ISO 100 - 5.6 at 1/125, 8 at 1/250 and 3.5 at 1/350 with varying results. In the end this is what I got.

Very nice work, Did you increase the size of the moon during layering or was this shot with a long telephoto?

Used tele, and used moon that was closest in size...although it was very big last night, those first 10 mins or so when it is rising, WOW!

Yes, the moon is very big when if first raises, but not this big!
All the same: I really like your photo here with the bigger moon inserted. Makes it look really interesting!
