sand storms

    just got home from iraq, in california now
    Can others edit my Photos:
    Photos OK to edit
    here are a few pic's of a sand storm that rolled through, this one was the worst i saw. iut went from day to night in a matter of seconds, but i put my camera away before it got distroyed, it was close!

    Crikey, always knew sandstorms were harsh, but that is a million miles away from what i thought it would be like.

    well my goggles work well, although when it hit the wind was verystrong, maybe 70-80mph it was pretty cool i thought

    Yikes! We have sandstorms in Phoenix, but nothing like that!

    wow! Nice captures and scary storm! They're supposed to come from the sky, not the ground. Silly nature! :)

    but those are some kewl shots. If you put your camera in a new zip-lock bag and set up the shot before they hit (and I hear they hit often) you can get some really neat shots of the Sun and around the camp floods that come on. Wear your mask! :D
