    Great, I love the textures captured in the first two shots, color and vibrance is really nice.

    nice series, where were these taken? i love the textures in #2... :thumbup: the landscapes are nice too, #1 is really interesting, it would be fun to see more from that spot under different lighting conditions. I'm not too big on the long shadows covering half the shot, but it still looks like a great spot. tfs!

    The location is just east of Stovepipe Wells in the area between the road and the Mesquite Dunes. I've been out there half a dozen times or so at both sunrise and sunset. Too hot to hang out during the day. It is best the morning after a windstorm, the place gets pretty tracked up by people wanting to be at the top for sunrise or sunset.

    Here's a link to a 360 photo just on the other side of the dune ridge I took a few years ago. Quality is poor but that's when I found I liked this area better than the dunes proper.
