    By the way I chose the wrong picture but this one can be critiqued just as easily I guess. Sorry about that.

    Hello and welcome:hug::

    I am by far a seasoned vet but, I'll give you my thoughts.

    I really like the shot, very sweet. The crop is a bit too tight for my taste and the little boys hand has no contrast to his shirt...his hand and the mans hand got "blown" out by the little boys white shirt.

    i agree, did you shoot in raw? maby a bit of editing can bring the hands out?

    I did shoot it RAW. Very good feedback thanks very much. Let me see what I can do to improve it.

    Excellent composition.
    IMO this is actually much better cropped tighter in 4h x 5w. Crop off the non-contributory right side and the image gets very tight as both eyes focus on the bird.

    Ha ha when I viewed the picture I was kinda thinking "wait..what was the title of this topic again?" and then I read your second post an instant ooohhhh...

    I like it, but I think it needs some more contrast for b&w picture.
