Sarracenia minor with potential prey

    Here's a photo of a fly attracted to this American pitcher plant (Sarracenia minor) due to the nectar the plant produces. When the fly goes a little bit to far, it will fall into the tube and will be digested.

    That's a great shot! Impending sense of doom seeing the wings sticking out and the way the red is positioned on the tip of plant, looks like blood!
