I think it is a beautiful picture. Part of the wing is blurry, but other than that it looks really good to me, but I am not an expert by any means.
How did you edit the photo this way? I see a lot of people doing this, but I am curious to know how they do it.

I assume you mean how part is B&W and part is in color? Google or do a YouTube search for "Selective Coloring."

THe missing arm was the first thing I caught...but I think it looks cool

The butterfly seems a bit to dark.

In photoshop this is really easy to do... You just copy the image (Ctrl+J) then goto that layer and then hit Ctrl+Shift+U, then create a layer mask on the now B&W layer, select the mask and just brush in what you want in color. Very simple... Thanks for the comments guys!

i agree with it being underexposed slightly. however, butterflies are without a doubt my favourite creature so i'm bias here. Oh and for Sw1tchFX, this is a Monarch which can live for 9 months, worth saving in my opinion
