I've got a PC sync cord hooked up to my hot shoe, but I don't think my sb600 has anywhere for it to go... so what do I have to get/how much is it going to cost for me to get something to hook the cord up to my sb600 speed flash ?

what camera are you using? depending on what the body is, you won't need a cord. the 600's don't have the jacks for those connections anyway, you'll need an adapter for the shoe, shoot in i-ttl, or use radio triggers.

Based on your flickr account you're using a D70 right? Now Nikon lists on their site the built in flash can be set to Commander mode but not as a Master. I'm not entirely sure what this means as far as CLS goes, but I think you may be able to use it to trigger your SB-600 (in remote mode). Look through the manual for CLS.

Those are both shoe to shoe connectors.

There is a PC to flash adapter if you really want to use a cord. I'm pretty sure that you can use a D70 in wireless mode though. (check Ken Rockwell's site)

Or you could just get a new cord and be TTL without wireless.

True, but those cords are only long enough to use with a flash bracket, I'm guessing that if she knew to use one of those then she would have worded her original question differently. ;)
