Scary stuff for kids..

Not keen on the first image, my eye keeps getting drawn away from the focal area by the spine.
The second image, however, is superb. The composition is great, the perspective is spot on, I love the DOF, and her expression is priceless. A real look of shocked awe, she looks perplexed by something that she finds scary but intriguing at the same time.

You might consider putting these two together in a side-by-side collage, with your daughter on the left, like in an extra-long viewcard, you know what I mean? The blue reflecting in her eyes and the blue ceiling behind the dinosaur would then instantly explain it all. Just an idea...
