I really like #2 and #4. I think #2 would also look really good as a high contrast B&W too. Nice shots.

    Nice shots mate.
    I like shot 2 and 3.
I would have made shot 2 a panorama and chopped of alot of the sky.
3 is cool but i think having the cars blurred detracts the from the photo somehow.
Maybe is 3 was shot at night and blur of the cars would look better?
Thats just my opinion. Great shots none the less.

#3 is my favorite of those, though I kinda wish that street lamp in the left wasn't there.

Great stuff! I love #2 and #3, I've taken almost the same pictures when I was there but your's are WAY better! The reflections in #2 are just fantastic and I really like the colored lights in #3.

    No.2 had me gasp.
But I agree with HoboSyke and think a panorama crop would make the skyline and its reflections stand out even more.

As to No. 3, much UNLIKE HoboSyke, I like the blurred lights of the cars and I like the time of day in which you (so I think) took this photo, i.e. in beginning twilight. (Or the cloud cover was so thick, it never became really bright?) I think that aspect is the really interesting one which adds a lot to the photo.

Agreed: that street light does not... but well...

wow, thanks for the great response everyone! :D :D really appreciate all the comments and suggestions.

    Here's a pano of #2

Yeh the lamp has got to go in the bridge shot. I'll get rid of that ASAP. ;)

hehe read the fine print dude  ;) ...took it from an overpass in Stanley Park. The access from downtown Vancouver snakes thru the park. It was approaching sunset when I took the shot and I used a 10$ tabletop tripod to hold the camera steady on the ledge of the overpass.
