These were taken in the immediate surroundings of my abode. I never before realized how much photographic potential there is scattered around within a couple of miles radius from my home.

Is the second a crop out of a much larger frame?
I wonder where that purple halo around the building comes from!?!?

I like that cave ... makes me think of nativity scenes (I wonder where those thoughts come from in these days :wink:

!?!?) - and the dilapidated barn/shed. The sky is best defined in that last one. And I like to see some flowers!

(No flowers here at this time of year).

The second picture is not cropped. It was taken with my HP on full zoom - which may explain the halo, either that or there is an aura of spirituality surrounding that building that I did not notice.
