Actually, it appears to be Nero Snapshot Viewer. The JPEG images are true to color when using Windows Photo Gallery; however, photos lose their sharpness when viewing them in WPG. Ugh...I'm confused.

The following is a screenshot of the same photo viewed using different software:

Looks like a color space issue.

The short answer is to make sure when saving that you are saving in sRGB, as most browsers and image viewers will tend to ignore color spaces but display images in sRGB properly, or reasonably properly.

There's a HECK of a lot more info beyond that on color spaces... search for posts by Garbz on this forum where the word "color space" is in the thread and you'll get a TON of info on it. He's the master.
 
I would suggest researching the color space thing like the other people mentioned...if that doesnt work......
After you convert to JPG...try saturating a bit.....? Would that work for you?
