I'd been meaning to get over to this area for the longest time. Finally had the time this Wednesday when I got off work a bit early.

Got there as the light was coming in under the trees.

I'm hoping to get back here as the trees turn color.

There are a few things which I'd like to go back and shoot again, such as this sluice gate along this irrigation ditch.

And as I was packing up, to ride my bike back to the car, this was over the Sandias.

There are a lot more photo opportunities in this area. I think my scouting expedition was successful.

Successful indeed! I was scrolling down to let you know how much I liked #1, and then I saw #3. Glorious colours!

Thank you. I'm itching to get back. Or maybe that's the mosquito bites.

Thank you all. This area looks promising for when the trees start turning.

Now, if they were Ents, they'd really turn! :lmao:
