I strolled down to a local harbour yesterday evening and was amazed to find seals swimming around between the boats. I’ve never seen them in the wild before. Not particularly happy with the results but I was handholding in poorish light and as I can’t remember anyone posting seals before, I thought it was worth sharing these.

In the first and second photo, they look more like manatees to me. And in the last a lot more like a sea gull!
    ;););););)

Why do you feel unhappy about these?
    Where is their fault?
    Where do they lack?
I find them sharp, close-up (first) - you might have wished for a filter for the second, but... it's a good photo without one, too.
The third is nicely composed with the moored wooden boat in the background. And DOF in the fourth is great, only do I miss the seals in that one... ;););););). Still looks ever so sea-gullish to me... ;););););)

Thanks all! Lafoto, I do like them, but spending so much time on here lately has made me hyper-critical. You might be right about that last one too!
