Self-Portrait Project

Any comments or critique are welcome and encouraged!

I am working on a new self-portrait project of sorts, and I am unsure at this point if I would like to continue it or not. So please tell me if you find it an interesting concept or not.

Anyways, they are pictures of me and my shoes. Shoes are something I care a lot about, so I wanted to document them. These are the first two shots I have taken for it:

1. I have a love/hate relationship with this shot. Its grainy and has harsh lighting, but I kind of like the mood it has to it. So I go back and forth constantly. Scrap the idea? Reshoot?

The first one seems to be about legs and/or stockings. The boots are so dark, it's hard to really see them properly. The 2nd shot is excellent.

I like them both, but I all so agrea with mike on the boots they could use a tuch of light to bring them out.

I really like the 2nd one, turned out very well. Loving the color scheme, overall it was very well done.

First one, have to say it's a little grainy for my tastes.

I think if you redid #1 it would be cool. I like the idea...just too grainy. Although I still think it looks good.
