I recently took a picture of the sign of a famous store in Los Angeles - Fred Segal. I had shown some of my photos to my stepdad, who said he liked most of them except this one, because it was too "commercial". It then hit me that it could be possible to possibly sell it to the store to use for advertising. Have any of you done this? Do you think it is a good idea? How would I go about contacting them if I did want to try and sell it? SHould I copyright it?

No offense, but it is a easily re-created b&w photo of a billboard with cars.

I don't think it would have a chance of selling, and doesn't need to be copyrighted.
