800 pages!. Beautiful editorial work by the likes of Irving Penn, Annie Liebovitz, Mario Testino, the list goes on and on. As always the type design and layout is top notch.

Of course 700 of those pages are ads. I find the ads to be just as inspirational as the editorial. I even like how the mag smells like perfume.

You can also say that the mag is geared toward the filthy rich. Personally my friends and I are not even close to being fashion conscience. None the less $4.50 is a small price to pay for amazing photography and design.

I've recently subscribed to V Fair and GQ for the same reason.

I had a subscription to Vanity Fair for years. I am sorry I never renewed it. I think VF's academy awards issue is comparable (if not better) than the fall Vogue.
