The moss really stands out nicely in the 2nd picture.
Ditto!

Hey Jeff, I mostly enjoy the first because that for once really shows the difference between a "normal" tree and these huge sequoias - when looked up, you can't usually tell from a photo how much higher they are than normal trees. But here you can see it - and "your average Christmas tree" in front of that huge "foot" of the tree trunk underlines things even better.

My whole family came running (sister included, who's with us right now :D) when I called them to show them this photo :).

I love the last two in this series. The fog and perspective in the 2nd to last really caught my eye. And I love the last, makes me feel relaxed to look at it.

Thanks for the comments. Think I like #s 2 and 3 the most.
With #2 I like the contrast between the thick green moss and the snow.
And agree with you Alison about #3

I love your exposure on these. It's not often that you see snow pictures with such a good exposure. That and they're great shots too.

Nice shots, but I can't help but think they'd be even nicer if you'd walked 20' into the woods. The road kind of spoils it for me. The last pic is very nice.

:lmao: Mattfish you what a guy for Florida to walk 20 feet into woods in fresh snow. Right.

The first three where shot in RAW and tweed a little in PS raw editor. The last was a JPG tweed it’s levels a little in PS
