    I liked the way the two trees in the foreground look like they were sheltering the smaller trees in the background

    it was a really overcast day, making this photo look really bland in B&W and washed out in colour so i added, quite a heavy, orange filter effect in PS to try and save it. does it look ok?

    thanks you two... it's hard to tell if you have over done something when you have been staring, and adjusting it for hours!

    I will have to politely disagree. I think the comp. is great but the coloring bothers me. Maybe a bluish toning would work better? I dunno, just an idea.........

    I like it as it is.... got no problem with the orange..think blue would be too obvious... nice one :thumbup:

    Id also try to crop out those small trees on the far left...
    pretty darn good comp there!

    i think the orange is kinda cool, er warm, whatever, it's a nice shot... :thumbup:

    I like the comp, but as your photo gets more articstic, it becomes what you like and of course it creates opinions. That is always cool!
