She closed up shop for an afternoon nap. Athens -'71.
hahaha, Is this taken in Romania??
I like the black and white, especially how the white thread contrast with the greyish blanket.
excellent shot!...... well captured, with nice tones
Thanks, your comment is appreciated.
Very nice tones. I like this image a lot.
Yep, this is a great image!
Thanks a lot......I was hoping one of my old B&W's would please you guys. You're all a tough audience.
Yes. THIS old b+w pleases me!
What sort of photos did I take in 1971?
None at all ... only got my first camera ever in 1973... .
It seems that most of the people that subscribe to this forum are quite young and that’s truly great. The photos and the work they post show a great deal of imagination and skill associated with a high degree of enthusiasm. I got my first “real” camera back in the ‘60s, a Voitlander 35mm, then in the ‘60s I moved up to a Minolta and in the ‘70s to Nikon and have stayed with Nikon ever since. My Ftn was hanging off my shoulder on every trip taken through the ‘70s. B&W was very popular then because color was expensive along without the convenience of today’s film developing outlets. I recently purchased an F3 w/motor drive, a D70 and an F5. Wish I still had the “old” Ftn with that fast 55mm f1.2.
Anyway thanks for all the kind comments, they help motivate the soul and the shutter finger.
