    Until I can afford better, I'm using a canon 75-300 III 4-5.6. It's a long shot from Canon's good glass, but every so often I get some good shots out of it.

    Yes the owl is lovely, great shot, it doesnt look like the lens is a handycap :). Always nice to have good glass, but in this case not necessary.

    Awesome shots. #1 is my favorite as well.
    What time of day was this picture taken at ? Owls are on my 'to do' list but so far I had no luck even locating one....

    Great work.

    Thanks. This one was taken about 8:00 p.m. I was driving around looking for a good spot to get some sunset photos and Noticed it on the fence post.

    Love those owl shots. Lense definitly isnt a problem here. I think they turned out great
