    Hi, All.

I've finally gotten a good night to get a few shots of the moon. Seems like life and weather have prevented me from an opportunity to practice . . . until now.

    1. I thought this was funny. A plane passed through as I was taking the shot. Looks like skid marks on the moon

    2. This is my first real attempt at getting shots of the moon. I used a 55-200mm lens, so I had to crop a bit. Wish I had a longer lens.

It almost seems like the shot needs some extra filler, maybe some stars. Do you live in a city so you can't see the stars?

There were a few stars out, but most were behind me. I agree about the need for filler though. Ideally, I'd like to get the moon hanging over the skyline, or some funky looking trees. This was just practice for tonight.

    Thanks,

    Ryan
