Sometimes I forget that most people don't see the types of thing I do or won't experience the same things. It's always neat to hear reactions to things that seem normal to me.

Kind of like my reaction when I shot the air soft gun? I know you guys are used to it but that scared the crap out of me! lol Although, with all the spiders in my house right now, I might just get one.

The pay isn't great as a VFR, but you do get a lot of training free of charge. Don't recall any of our hazmat training/certifications including weapons. Might have paid more attention if they would have let me bring the S&W M&P. I can tell you that when foaming a vehicle fire it's easy to get carried away. LOL

I've done training in Leonard Wood as well. No weapons there.

Hazmat certification was real big for awhile here. We were less than 30 miles from the Anniston Army Incinerator, plus there was a lot of weapons traffic inbound for destruction. Glad that's finally over.
