Shots of my wife and daughter - C&C welcome

Just wanted to get some input on these shots so that I can improve my methods and techniques. The shots of my daughter were semi-candid (i.e. she wasn't really standing still) and the shots of my wife were a bit rushed (we had planned on spending an hour or so taking pictures around the park, but got delayed and only had about 5-10 minutes).

I should probably mention that I'm shooting with a Nikon D70 and these were all shot with a 50mm 1.4 lens I rented. I don't have the money to invest in any additional equipment right now, so I'm just trying to learn to be a better photographer first and then I'll get all the extra toys when I think I have the skill and knowledge to make good use of them.

I would not shoot in front of tree's in this case they're a bit distracting (personally). #1 there is some distracting shadow play on your wife's face
