    How big is the flower in pic 2? Seriously it look HUGE like a prop in Lost In Space. Thats pretty awesome!

    That bird in the first shot has awesome colourings.

    It is a Bali Minah, Leucopsar rothschildi, one of the most rare birds in the world. Even though you see them in zoos (there are 1000 or so in captivity), there are literally only a few dozen known to be alive in the wild. At one point in time, the population in the wild was reduced to 6 known birds.

    The Bali Minah has very little chance of surviving as a species in the wild, and will likely only be seen in captivity in our lifetimes.
