Should I replace my Sigma 18-200 for a Canon 24-105 F4L??

So I am going on a trip to Spain tomorrow and have been debating whether or not to get the Canon L lens. I currently use a Sigma 18-200 3.5-6.3 as my walkaround but am wondering if I should replace it with the canon. Is it worth it?? Will my pictures turn out that much better compared to my Sigma lens?

The Canon is about $1100 OTD at a local shop, and if my pictures will be noticably better I think I will do it.

    Any thoughts? Thanks.

I don't know anything about the image quality of the Sigma...but I'm fairly certain that the Canon lens is much better. In just about every case...a 4x zoom will be better than a 10x zoom...and in this case, the 4x zoom is a Canon L...which means that it's top of the line.

Quality - Sure! Yeah, it should be way better....as long as you don't depend on 18mm wide, or 106-200mm zoom...

Also, do you like your Sigma 18-200? I think that'd be a neat lens to have in my bag. It's fairly cheap, reviews say it's fairly sharp, and you can't beat the range. It'd be a great walkaround lens, or one to use when I let people borrow my camera :). Do you like it?

I have the 28-135 and you won't be disappointed with the range of the 24-105. Its not quite wide enough for my taste however.
