Most of the time geese are more than willing subjects for a photo, but this one just wouldn't have anything to with it. :lmao:

    Hmm, a "fowl pose"

Hi Jon, been trying to keep myself busy, trying not to become a couch potato. Being unemployed can ruin you in a hurry if ya let it. ;) The good thing is, the "honey do" list is just about complete.

Glad you noticed I was away, and I wont stay away that long again. It is good to be back.

yep, chiller and i have been posting a bunch of graveyard pics with the hopes of catching a crow perched atop an old tombstone...they aren't cooperating. so our posts are mainly stones with crows dressed up as other fowl. :lmao:

Actually, it is cleaning its feathers and putting in some more "ointment"... sorry to burst this bubble, I can't lie, not even on the internet :blulsh2:

And as for flexibility, Raymond, be calm: I can't do that, either ;). But then I also don't have that gland... what is it called again? Rump gland? ... anywhere there.

Actually, I like that pose. It's not one that normally gets posted. So that's why I like it.

I have no idea what it's called. Rump, for me, normally means bum so... I thought the oil came from around their head or soemthing?

No, they pick it up from somewhere on their rump/bum. And spread it with the help of their head/face (how else, tip of their wing only applies to comic strips...).
