Sigma 105mm f2.8 DG EX Macro.

What are the pics of?? Looks small. Did you use extension tubes, or just the lense.
 
It is a Daphnia. Also called a water flea although there is no connection with the land based arthropod. If you look into a pond or a trough you will see these little (1 to 3 mm ) things paddling their way around. You might even buy them to feed to tropical fish.

It was taken with a Canon EOS 400D (Rebel XTi if you are across the pond). Back lit with a Canon EX 580 strobe through Grease proof paper) the images were then put in PhotoShop, Levels, Image size to A3 at 300 DPI. And the image cropped to 6" X 4" (15 X 10 CMs) This was then made to fit 800 X 600 for Photobucket and you are looking at the results...
