Which of these flashes is generally better, and why? The sigma seems to be only about $30 cheaper than the Nikon, I'm just curious about their similarities and differences. And for that matter, what does the Nikon have that the
Phoenix DZBIS-112iTTL doesn't have? The Phoenix is amost $100 less.

If you plan to keep the flash on camera and have TTL, either one will work. If you plan to use them off camera with extra remote triggers and without TTL, either one will work.

If you want off camera iTTL (also known as Nikon's CLS), nothing but the SB-600 will do it for you.

I played with off camera iTTL last night and though I am an avid strobist (all manual setups), it was very nice to just set the settings I wanted and let the camera set the power of the flashes for me automatically. Too easy.

In the future, you can also use Google to find out this info. I googled the answer in about 1-2 minutes. ;)

Ah. Sorry I've had a bit of bad luck with google lately. No matter what info I would google it would either tell me what I already know or try to sell me something. Thanks for the info.

For $30 you may as well go with the Nikon
