Simple video editing?

I woke up this morning and i am fooling around with movie mode on my new D90. I have never done video editing. I was wondering what are some programs for Mac that are easy to get started with where i can do simple stuff like color correction, contrast etc?

Maybe in iMovie? I haven't fooled around with it much yet.
