    I caught my friend at a Sun afternoon gig in a local resturant. I was hand holding with available light, snapped a bunch got this one.

    This shot would be great -if it weren't for the sunlight through the blinds. Those sharp lines are distracting. Without them...I'd feel as if I were holed-up in some rundown, roadside bar eluding the cops and I just happened to stumble upon some guy singing the story of his life. Can you PS them out?

    Dominic, I hadn't considered the light a distraction. The window light was most of the available illumination. With nothing better to do I decided to clone out the very bright areas cause I'm open to that kind of stuff. What do you think of this.

    I like the original better, gives it texture. (for lack of a better term)

    ^^agree with jstuedle. The rays of light off his right shoulder look nice and makes it obvious the blinds are in play.

    Ditto, nice retouch job but the highlights gave it more shape and interest IMHO.
