Why is it that this forum does not allow thread deletion by the original poster?
My suggestion is to add that feature in, as it is in many other "sister" forums.

If you have a member who no longer desires the content of a thread they created to be seen, their only recourse is to edit the initial post and delete the info, save it with something generic in there, and then delete the rest of the posts they created in the thread.
What is left is an asinine thread with no value, taking up space, that would be better served in the trash can.

I can't think of a good reason to keep that feature from the users.
