SJ Series - Your thoughts please

HI - Having taken quite a few pictures of this model (SJ) I would like some feedback please on my results. Be as harsh as you like. I need definative answers.

To be honest, neither of these does much for me. It is a fine shot technically, but I am not attracted by any single feature of the model, which keeps me from getting fully engaged. It's sometimes good to keep the eye busy, but this one just doesn't keep it focused enough. I personally prefer a very specific focal point for close portraiture.

Did you consider removing the reflection from her eye? Maybe whiten up the eyeballs and go for an even deeper green on the iris.

A vertical format would have done wonders. Move in closer, the back of the head isn't all that interesting- the character is in the face.
