matt, who is that? i rollerblade and take photos of rollerblading frequently.

thats a cool shot. like how you've caught the shadow in the background. exposure is just right
 
It seems like flash would have helped that shot a little. Just my opinion.

Fisheyes are damn useful with skating. Makes everything look nice and big and lets you get a close view. With the longlens shots- you can make a gap 2 metres wide look 20cms wide with the wrong angle- make sure you get it so it looks big. If you want to shoot hips- i guess youd already know how to get good timing with flips. But get low to the ground at the bottom of the hip- usually looks great.

Thanks for the comment, Its Christian Hansen, just a skater up here in seattle. The shadow effect is in almost all my shots because I cant afford a second flash, lol. Its too bad the shot was ruined because of the filmer... :x
