Daisy and I paid a visit today to the Heartland Forest, In 45 deg., pouring rain weather! miserable! We found Dave Gibson and his lovely wife and children, with 3 of his 120 birds he keeps at home for education, conservation, and captive breeding. His organization is called Skyhunters International, and I hope to get more involved with his projects soon!

Dark clouds, rain, and covered by a tent to keep these creatures dry, I tried to capture their beauty once again. @1600 iso, handheld, and shivering, this is the best I could do.. plz excuse the noise!

    thanks everyone!

I would love to know how to catch a shot of an owl in the wild, I guess its just some hiking in the right places eh Canoncan?? These Skyhunters folks go rabbit hunting in the winter with their owls.. and they have invited me to join them.. I better buy some warm boots!!
