I would like to know the opinion of forum members on the ethics of submitting a slide for a competition that was originally a colour transparency and then scanned and enhanced digitally. Following this, converted again to a slide.

Also, how can a digital image be made into a slide. Any ideas please?

I would attach some of my pics, but haven't yet worked out how to do this on this forum yet, as I don't have a web site.

There's nothing ethically wrong, as long as the competition doesn't state anything about manipulation of images, or require that images are film only and not digital.

Would it be unethical to submit a print to a B&W competition that you had dodged and burned? What if you had altered the development time to reign in your highlights. Would that be unethical as well? I think not.

Just check the rules of the contest carefully.
