Small Town Carnival

I took this shot for a friend who wanted a picture of the carnival her parents owned that also showed the town the carnival was in. It turned out a little blah to me, any suggestions?

Unless you are in an airplane, the friend is asking a bit much. The randomness in which a carnival is set up and the location make it difficult to meet her requests.

I think that what you have posted is fine. I like the colors and the broad view, but, personally, I would prefer to capture the carnival at a closer range. You caught pretty well what a carnival is like in a small town.

Thanks, I didn't see many options for this image either but I didn't feel so bad since I was also able to catch some closer shots where I had a little more to work with.

Perhaps your friend would benefit more from a series or a collage type thing. That way you could include great shots like the rides, people, treats and maybe a couple of the town.
