Small yellow flower

    Ok so I am a bit confused...what the heck kinda flower is this? I think it is just a plain old daisy but I'm not sure. Any who I got bored with the macro lens..what do you think..

    Looks more like a dandelion to me, or something related to a dandelion. How large is it, and where was this picture taken?

    Nice shot, by the way.

    This picture was taken in Central Arkansas and yeah I think you're right it is a dandelion. It is about the size of a nickle or a quarter..

    There aren't really enough petals for it to be a dandelion. It might be mouse-ear hawkweed or rattlesnake weed. They're basically smaller versions of a dandelion. :)
