The right place at the right time. Olympus e-510
That is a lot of birds, holy Hell. There must be a thousand at least!
And that was maybe one third if the total that day in that field
A close crop from another shot
That is really neat. Lucky man.
Just glad you could get the right shot off before they all left.
Michael, a : for you for being back here. I missed you a lot!
Super photos, I do like the second so much - so much detail, all the different stages of taking off in the geese to be studied! One more because you are back, I really (!) missed you :hugs:!
Oh wow, what a lucky shot! Do they gather in that spot every year?
Well Thank you... I have been a tad busy of late working on a large project. I am now enjoying that holiday breathing room that Christmas affords. I am itching to get out and shoot but all it does lately is rain.
Serenity...Yes they do stop in at this spot every year. it is a bird sanctuary south of Vancouver. However, I knew nothing about any of that when I took these shots. I was just out driving around with the camera and I guess I just turned onto the right road
Great shot. I wish I could find myself in these situations.
oh wow, thats a lot geese. Great shots
You really caught the frenzied flush. I think I hear them. Ron
