Snowboarding....just thought I'd change things up

Snowbarding club got together today and had a couple ramps set up on the (not too big) hill on campus.....and yes, the slightly blurred/desaturated effect is on purpose....slightly random for snowboarding pics, but I think they fit. Thoughts?

DA! just lost a whole post.

anyway, to sum up, I love the effect, but i wish there was different croping in the jump pics.
I dont know if it was the jump/boarder/ your position, but it doesnt look like the boarders got much air.
IMO snowboard shots look better if you crop out the ground if the boarder isnt getting much air (lack of ground makes it look like they got air)
or if they are going huge, leave the ground in, but make your you get an comp that plays up the hight they are getting
