These were the first images I've ever shot in RAW format. The Pentax software doesn't give as big of a range of saturation & contrast adjustments as I would have hoped, so I saved the files as 16 bit TIFFs and adjusted the contrast, saturation, and gamma in Irfanview.

#1 - Which do you like better, horizontal or vertical?

#2

#3 - I couldn't decide if this one is worth anything or just *yawn*. What is your honest opinion?

the first one. It provides the best balance in my opinion.

I agree with the #1 thing but I like #2 really well also. We got snow last night I am going to brave the snow today.

I think the first one is the best of the 3. #2 needs better foreground and the branches at the top left are too close.

Thanks for the feedback fellas!

love them all..
but tihs is totally biased ... as i love EVERY snow photo at the moment.

hate the fact that we did get NO snow AT ALL here this year :(

The first is better because it seems to have better contrast than the second one. The compostion in either one works well. I think the third one needs a much tighter view to show the contrast between the bark & the snow. It's a bit busy as it is now.
