How do you figure out the URL of your photo if it's on your desktop? I'm trying to post a photo (I never have because I get so frustrated trying to figure it out)!
When I click on the little insert photo button it asks for a url. I don't use any third parties to host my shots.

    Please help!

a photo on your desktop has no URL - only websites have a URL
You have to use a 3rd party site to upload to first to get the URL - something like imageshake or photobucket - they are free accounts.

This site (TPF) does not have free uploading - its part of the deal you get when (if) you subscribe to the site

You need to link to Photobucket or somewhere like that. Get the image URL (like www.website.com/image.jpg), then put it in tags. It'll look a bit like this:

    [IMG]www.website.com/image.jpg
