Can others edit my Photos

I've seen posts like this before, and thought.... "well, that's kind of self-promoting"... but now I find myself in the same position.. It's been suggested by several folks that I start a new thread just for this.. There's a photography competition that I entered on a whim, and it was whittled down to 9 finanlists - of which I'm one. It's supposed to represent a beautiful part of Idaho - It's a picture of the Perrine Bridge in B&W, with a fog bank slithering under it..

I've had a weekend like no other .... and hope to never again... I've been chased by a Moose, walked "11" miles for a picture that turned out crappy, pooped on by something realllllly big that flew overhead, and - (a good part) won $200 on a penny slot machine on an Indian Reservaton Casino... .. If you wouldn't mind looking at the picture and if you think it's good, give me a vote? - I'd really appreciate it.. Here's the link.

Vote on Photos of Idaho

If you want, I'll expound on the Moose thing, but I can tell you that there isn't a camera made that will keep the focus on a Momma Moose during a run as fast as mine !!

Thanks guys ...

How did that many bad HDR's get into the finals? :???:

You got a vote from me. Very cool shot, I think the fog makes it. Good luck.

For discussion's sake, I liked the sunset shot of the same bridge, but would have liked the bridge closer to make it stand out more as the subject, or maybe just a different perspective. It seems lacking somehow. The harvester was cool but doesn't scream "Idaho" to me. I thought the same about the dog amongst the sheep; really like it, but doesn't make me think "Idaho."

Yeah wow what's with all the HDR's, is that really big in Idaho or something?

I didn't vote, because I'm lazy but also because I didn't think your photo was the best. I'm surprised a the one that is winning though, I didn't think much of it at all. I liked the harvester one the best.

already voted. Yours is much better than the one that is winning.

voted :) I actually looked at all the pics before reading which one was taken by you...the b&w bridge was my favorite. nice shot!

When I see these threads I always vote with an open mind, and most the time, I dont vote for the person asking for votes.

But in this case, I really think your picture is the best of the bunch.

And I echo others, whats with all the cheesy HDRs? I seriously can't wait for this photo fad to die out...people like to be all gimmicky.

Agreed on all points.

Nice shot. Thanks for the story, and what an experience being chased by a Moose.
I voted for yours, I too was surprsed by the one in the lead.

I voted for you. The only other I like is the harvester, but then again, it just doesn't represent Idaho in my mind. The HDR's aren't "photo's" at all and this is not an "art" contest.
