I like the picture alot except for the orange thing (ball?) in the foreground. The rest of the photo is very desaturated and I think the orange is distracting. Maybe try and photoshop it out or desaturate it with the rest of the photo.

The orange ball is a mooring float. In a way, it was part of the whole point. It was an impenatrable grey foggy day (the main reason for the desaturation I think), a house barely visible in the distance, and the mooring float stuck in the ice in the river.

Of course, if it needs explaining, then perhaps the photo doesn't work the way I thought it would. All comments definitely welcome. I newly returned to photography, and new to digital and photoshop, so I know I have a lot to learn.
