All found in our garden today.
Spring is finally coming round the corner here, too. That is soooo wonderful!

Really nice shots, for some reason i thought you didnt like macro? These are great, especially the backgrounds, like the red buds in 4 and the red background, the dinner shot in 3 is really nice too :) but take a little looking to see the secret muncher. Just to be awkard i am going to say the think i like least about it, the highlights are a bit too burnt out for my liking on number 2, it could actually do with less contrast.

    thanks for posting

Tim, I wholeheartedly agree about the blown-out highlights in Photo 2, and I was debating with myself whether to include it in the series or not. I did... and you spotted the flaws. That is good.
I never saw who was feeding on our budding plum tree blossoms! Had you not pointed out there was someone there having breakfast (must have been BREAKFAST, I took these early this morning), I would never have noticed. Mind: those buds are about one millimetre in diametre!

And have I ever said I didn't like macro photography?
I am not good at it.
But I have always been fascinated with it!

Fantastic series. I love your flower photos. #6 is my favorite.

Some nice macro work here, Corinna. Very pleasing backgrounds and the backlighting on a few of them works wonders on the semi-transparent leaves.

The whole series is great, but number three looks like a studio shot. I love the red on red 'concept'!
