So threads just get deleted now?

Maybe it should have just been locked if something was wrong with it?

I'm still trying to figure out why my extra nipple was deleted.

What section what it in, was it on topic and when was the last time you checked on it?

I often move threads that are in the wrong section, and leave a re-direct that expires in one day. So if someone missed the re-direct, they might think it got deleted.

i checked it the night i posted it before going to bed, went to check in the AM and it was gone.

It's not even in my list of threads I've started... it's just gone...

it was in this forum because it was an "off topic" thread. it didn't fit in any of the actual forums...

I haven't heard anything, but it's also possible that the forum had to be reset and restored from a backup. In which case, any thread/posts made in the 'in between time' would have been lost.

there's more than 2 site admins so I am wondering if maybe one of them deleted the post that hasn't posted yet...

I deleted it. I didn't feel it presented the forum and it's membership in a particularly good light. I see no particular reason why the forum should be used as a vehicle to disrespect another photographer, especially one who is not on the forum to defend their style or status. There was also the barely disguised profanity used in the original post which seemed rather unnecessary and was reported by another member. As to why I didn't contact you or issue a warning of some sort, it was late and I have to sleep sometimes too.

Is that explanation enough?
