1. Looks like the victim of a hit and run driver. Not a flattering pose at all.

2. Out of focus. The subject isn't very exciting and the color looks flat.

3. It's an ok pic. There's nothing unique or eye catching about the photo. But it's a nice scrap book picture.

Thanks for the C+C.

The 2nd one I did notice it was OOF after I uploaded it. What do you mean by the color looks flat? Like they don't pop out enough? How would I go about getting better color in my photos. Just post process in photoshop?

I re-did #2. Is it any better? Anyone?

Yup, you just need to adjust the color saturation and contrast a little bit. I do this in Lightroom but you can also do it in Photoshop. Your edit on the color/saturation of #2 looks better than the original. Unfortunately there's nothing you can do about the missed focus.

Did you shoot these in RAW or JPEG?

On the second edit, did you up the contrast? The blown areas are really pronounced now. And you lost detail in the dark areas. The color is a tiny bit better but it wasn't a very good image to start with.

Thanks. I tried to soften it up a bit and tried to bring in more details.

I'm not used to shooting people.
